
AIKIDO DOSHINOKAI ASSOCIATION
SEEKING THE ART OF PEACE
The Aikido Doshinokai Association, established in 2000 by Haruo Matsuoka, 7th dan Shihan, is dedicated to promoting the principles, practice, and philosophy of Aikido as developed by its founder, Morihei Ueshiba.
Doshinokai in Japanese translates a group of people with a shared aspiration. At the establishment of the organization, its founder, Haruo Matsuoka sensei envisioned a group of Aikido practitioners and enthusiasts can establish lasting friendships through the learning of the art of Aikido.
Today, Doshinokai is an international organization with affiliate dojos in various states within the United States, Belgium, Spain, Canada, and Poland.

DOSHINOKAI CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS – SHIDOIN
The Shidoin designation is bestowed upon active Dojo head instructors with a minimum rank of Yondan. Under Aikido Doshinokai Association, Shidoin’s are appointed directly by Shihan Haruo Matsuoka.
